Some time ago, I was featured as a Singapore Mom Blogger in a fellow Mommy's blog too. I had done a write up about myself and stuffs like why I set up this blog. Since I did not manage to come up with one "About Me" when I started this blog earlier, this (edited) write up is just perfect for it.

A Titsy Beadsyy of Me

Hi! I am a preschool educator turned full time mom to a darling 6  7 month old cherub and an aspiring full time blogger. I enjoy surfing the net because that is where my curiosity, from fashion to babycare, gets satisfied at an instant. And of course, I also love reading blogs as well as writing and designing mine (Beadsyy’s Diary). Besides this, I love photography, travelling, fortune telling related topics, eating, jazz, bossa nova, catching chick flicks and simply hanging out with my loved ones. I would say being a mom has been a dream of mine since I was little and now, I have never been happier.

 Why I started this blog and what it's about

In fact, I did try blogging a couple of years back but it did not work out. I would post a couple of entries and gave up. I guess I was too conscious on blogging and am afraid that my life will be laid out in the public eyes. And then, I had decided to pick up blogging again to celebrate the birth of Allysa. I had planned to start after she was born. But the initial post-partum period was not as rosy as I thought it would be. It took me some time to struggle through the woes I faced during breastfeeding, sleep deprivation and painful post-op recovery. Besides this, I underwent a series of emotional roller coaster since the birth of my daughter and was at the brink of some sort of depression from the failure of breastfeeding. (Read story here) It took me a while to figure things out and find the balance I needed.

As I watch my baby grows each day, I knew I have to capture and chronics down these moments and the every little milestones she achieves before memory fades away.

Besides that, being a very communicative person; I felt I needed a channel to voice out, share my thoughts and embarked on a project to keep me growing.  Lastly, I do find solace in writing. It felt like I am actually talking to somebody (except that I might not hear a voice replying back to me). And with all the blog browsing I have done, I was inspired to blog as well. 

With all these, comes the birth of my blog. 

Therefore, my blog is everything about me! Randomness. It’s like a diary whereby I write anything and everything under the Singapore sun. Since now I am a wife,  a mom and a blogger, I guess what I blog most will be about my baby, my muses on my journey through motherhood and couplehood after baby, stuffs that I enjoy, get inspired by or great finds and of course, the tidbits of my life and thoughts. I hope my readers will find my light hearted blog close to their heart. It is definitely quite a mommy blog.

But mom or not, Beadsyy’s Diary is definitely the place where you can read with ease and comfort. And the place just right for the daily tit(beads) for your soul.
