Positive? Positive!

Hi all, my apologies from my absense from the blogosphere. Lots have been going on around recently. (hey, what's new right?)

Well for some great news, our family welcomes a little new princess, Jemma right before Chinese New Year. Congratz to my dear elder sis and her family to their HUGE bundle of joys. Then came CNY, where we were busy from head to toe with gathering and all these festive celebrations. And Allysa fell really sick after that (so did I). So it was followed by a horrendous week of cough (lots of it!), cold, fever and many sleepless nights for my poor baby, my mum and I.

I felt luck hasn't been really good so far since ushering the year of the Dragon. Well, supposingly it's a bad bad year for those born in my animal zodiac. Geez, I am usually not that pan-tang (in another word, taboo) but then, my instinct tells me I better be watchful this year.(*eyes rolling around*) It's better safe than sorry.

Well, here comes the weekend and I am sure it's gonna be a happier weekend. First of all, Allysa is recovering and she isn't coughing as much in the nights. Secondly, DH is back for the weekend from his reservist. Thirdly, we are having a family celebration this evening for my dearest DH's birthday.

Happy, happy! Maybe till Monday, everything will be back to norm... but anyways.... Gonna remind myself to stay positive!
